Join Johanna Hynes and friends for a mid-summer wellness retreat on Martha’s Vineyard.

Our mission is to provide each guest with a holistic menu of inspiring movement classes, locally sourced meals and ample open time to drop into the joy that is island life.


The retreat is held at the Vineyard Arts Project residence in the heart of Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard. We offer single, double and triple room options and all include a private bath.

Guest Pricing:

*All rooms include private bath.
*Price is per person and includes daily yoga & barre classes, breakfast and two group dinners (chocolate & wine tasting, cooking demonstration and private lawn concert). parking and wi-fi also included.
*Space is limited and rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
*50% deposit is required to reserve your spot. Deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance will be due 60 days prior to retreat.
*Additional on-site wellness services available by appointment. Our event coordinator will be on site to help make your stay perfect – including dining reservations, activity coordination, appointments, etc.

As lovers of the local food scene on MV we put a big focus on providing a healthy (and delicious!) menu. Guests will enjoy breakfast daily, as well as a local cheese and chocolate tasting and two group dinners prepared by renowned island chef. (All locally sourced ingredients).

Guests will enjoy…

  • Beautiful accommodations in the heart of Edgartown, including a spacious deck and lawn where you can enjoy your morning coffee, read a book or take a nap in the afternoon sun.
  • Daily Yoga & Barre classes in our state of the art studios with Johanna, Roxie and Jessica.
  • Access to on-site Pilates Reformer classes with Mollie.
  • Guided meditation classes with Fez.
  • Daily breakfast and two group dinners (locally-sourced ingredients).
  • Cooking demonstration, Wine & Chocolate Tasting & Private Lawn Concert.
  • Optional Activities: Massage, Acupuncture, Running, Biking, Clamming in Katama Bay, Kayaking on Chappy, Paddle Boarding, Nutrition sessions and more (additional fees may apply).
  • Walk or bike to Edgartown to explore this historic village, enjoy a meal or do a little shopping.
  • Guests will also have plenty of down time to relax & explore the island.
  • Complimentary parking and wi-fi provided.

A day in the life…

– 7:15am – Barre with Jess in studio II (45 mins) or Pilates with Mollie in Studio II (45 mins)
– 8:30am – Yoga with Johanna in Studio I (60 mins)
– 9:30am – Breakfast of local Mermaid Farm yogurt, blueberries and homemade granola, farm-fresh eggs and mixed greens.
– 5:00pm – Yoga with Roxie in Studio I (90 mins)
– 7:30pm – Farm to Table Dinner followed by a private lawn concert with local band, Good Night Louise!
